Steve Simmons


Steve Simmons is based in the UK, in Southport a town very near to the city of Liverpool.

Steve has worked for many clients over the years from all over the world, from India to the USA, Australia to Ireland. Many of Steve's clients are base in London, England. Steve works from his attic studio using the latest technology and traditional materials, specializing in conceptual artwork from environments to costume, character and vehicles.

On occasion, Steve produces large format canvases to order, favouring the airbrush as his tool of choice. Steve also produces animation. Although this is more of a hobby, he has received commissioned work from UK companies and was asked by the UK Bible Society to produce an animated film, which was screened all over the UK. Another of Steve's short animation's was selected for the Milan short film festival, with judges including Ridley Scott {Gladiator} and Rutger Hauer {Bladerunner}.

Steve recently produced concept art for Chess grandmaster and screen writer Raymond Keene OBE, whose screen play is currently being looked at for production by Paramount.

Also this year, Steve has produced concept art for the film Director Neil Marshal {Doomsday, the Decent, Centurion} for his next project 'The Ghost of Slaughterford'.

Steve likes movies, plays tennis, enjoys cycling, is interested in astronomy, and plays guitar. Steve's short animation 'Fett', which he made for fun, has had over one hundred thousand views on YouTube.
